Producer Compensation Disclosure Statement
SKCG Group, Inc. (SKCG) is known for its high standards of service and professionalism and
the trust placed in us by our clients. As an independent insurance agent or broker, SKCG
typically has access to more than one insurance company to place your coverage. SKCG is an
insurance producer licensed by the State of New York. Insurance producers are authorized by
their license to confer with insurance purchasers about the coverages/benefits, terms and
conditions of insurance contracts; to offer advice concerning the substantive benefits of
particular insurance contracts and to obtain insurance for purchasers.
SKCG is compensated for its work in several ways. Our income is generally derived from
commission calculated as a percentage of the premium collected by the insurer and is paid to
us by the insurer. SKCG may also receive from insurers and insurance intermediaries additional
compensation (monetary and non-monetary), which may be contingent on volume, profitability
or other factors pursuant to agreements we may have with them relating to all or part of the
business we place with those insurers or intermediaries. Such agreements may be in effect with
one or more of the insurers with whom your insurance is placed, or with the insurance
intermediary we use to place your insurance.
As the purchaser, please understand that unless there is a written agreement between
you and us to the contrary, we will receive compensation from the selling company based on the
agreement we have with the company.
You may receive information about our compensation on the policy or policies you select and
about any policies we have presented to you which you did not select by asking us for the
information.
